BAR The Rutgers University School of Business Administration Review, The RUSBAR, is an annual publication of the student body of the School of Business, reflecting some of the views and problems of the school and the business world. As an official student publication, The RUSBAR provides readers with unbiased, factual business information obtained through the efforts of the students and alumni of the School of Business Administration. The School has received a great deal of praise as a result of these articles. This review has helped to foster a close, congenial relaf tionship between the student and faculty, and among the business enterprises of the New Jersey Metropolitan area. ,cv : lUCOUN,'l'I 1: ll Now in its fourth year, the Accounting Club has tried to promote a closer affiliation between SBA students and the business world. The club strives specifically to stimulate a greater interest in the profession of accounting and to encourage activities beyond the required work of the classroom. During the past year, members of the club were given the opportunity to hear many qualified speakers from the business world and have thus become aware of some of the problems they will meet in the field of accounting. One of the speakers, Mr. Marshall Thomas, President of the New Jersey Chapter of Certified Public Accountants, spoke on C.P.A. regulations and opportunities in the public accounting field. Another speaker, Mr. Percy Proctor spoke on opportunities in Administrative and Industrial Accounting.
