The staff of the 1985 Arcadian and the Class of 1985 would like to dedicate this year's yearbook to a great teacher and friend. The dedication goes to Mr. Ed Doyle. Mr. Doyle graduated in June of 1969 from Wayne Central School. Then he attended SUNY at Oswego for the next four years and graduated in 1973. In September of 1973 he started teaching Graphics Art at NHS. Mr. Doyle has taken additional courses at Nazareth College, SUNY at Oswego, Syracuse University, and SUNY at Geneseo. He has worked since 1969 at Pitts Pontiac in Webster as a salesman part time and summers. Mr. Doyle is not only a fine teacher, but a friend to every one he meets. The students feel like he understands them and that he wants them to learn and have fun learning. Mr. Doyle's name always comes up when students talk about their favorite teacher. We have strived to make the book resemble a magazine, a year-end issue, summing up the highlights of the year. Last year, as we were brainstroming ideas for the '85 Arcadian, we decided that our yearbook should contain more pictures that included all four classes and also more articles to serve as a written record for our ailing memories when we re old and gray. You will also notice ads scattered about, just as a magazine would. We hope we have achieved our goal and that you will find this year's yearbook enjoyable. Cheryl A. Bowker Thomas R. May 2
