Student Council 1ST ROW: C. SPALTZHOLZ, MC FAUL, K. HAVERT. DE WEAVER, D. FAAS, MARRO. 2 ND ROW: MISS TURNER, MR. BURDITT, RENICK, WOLFORD, NUNN. TOWNSEND. L. SPALTZHOLZ. MR. HESS. MISS BROWN. THE STUDENT COUNCIL j VERY spring, the student body chooses a new student council. Mr. Burditt, our very able treasurer, is the only permanent member of the council. A president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and a boy and girl representative compose the central body of the student council. A representative from the seventh and eighth grades and the senior high class presidents are added to the group. One of our big projects this year was the reorganization of a school paper. Also, we have tried to make better pep-meetings by supervising them. The new cafeteria, which was opened in January, gave us another supervision job. Since we are a member of the National Association of Student Councils, we send representatives to regional meetings every year. Our student council, on the whole, has tried to improve conditions in the school as well as the school itself. 14
