1723 ALPHA Cl-II SIG MA As the brothers of Alpha Chi Sigma look back upon the past school year. they can remember the many happy times we have had. We started off with Alan Alpert as President and Albert Ted Gibbons as Vice-President. The middle of the year saw some new faces around the House when Paul Wollman. Jerry Davis. Phil Hamlin. Ken Weiner. Gene Hannigan. and Johnny Reif were initiated. At this time also Albert Gibbons was elected President and Steve Robbins Vice-President. The A X If swimming team. caplained by Norman Hill. placed first in the lnterfraternity Swimming Cham- pionships for the fourth year in a row. We were almost as fortunate in basketball. placing second. The team. under the leadership of Ted Gibbons. showed fine spirit all the way and came close to winning. The month of May saw Eddie Baram, Steve Zucker, Tom Medford, Eric Bornheimer. Denny Call, Paul Blau. Ned Koorbusch. Pete Brotman. Bill Hulsizer. and Sabino Porraro initiated into the House. Many improvements have been made on the condition of the House mainly through the efforts of Walter Luh. The House expressed its appreciation to Brother Luh by presenting him with the Leonard Shulman Achievement Award for the brother who has done the most for the House. Alan Alpert won the Albert Sands Award. and the Alpha Chi Sigma Scholastic and Athletic Awards

gun DELTA SIG MA NU .-Ks the school vear draws to a close the brothers of Delta Sigma Nu look hack on a season of progress and achievement with a great deal of joy and satisfaction. Our membership has increased and we are even now' anticipating a liigger and lvetter House in l954-l955. At this time ol Graduation our only regret is that four llrothers will he leaving: Pedro Carrillo. Michael liorelli. John Fiore, and Hernan Valery. Un campus Valery was Captain of soccer, a member of the swim- ming team, and First Sergeant of C Company. Carrillo played varsity soccerg liorelli played lntramural football. hasketball. swimming. and wrestlingg and John Fiore did likewise. also winning the Chaplain Burner Award for the greatest improvement in mental and moral atti- tude, llolmert Kill' was the numlver two man on the varsity golf team and llick Nlarimon was one of the stars of the undefeated varsity soccer team. llill Fox saw' action on the undefeated IN. loothall team. Also on the soccer team were Guevara. Guzman. llincon. and Riveroll. Ray Smith shot on the varsity rille team and became Lieu- tenant Adjutant on the Junior Staff. --1-.. DELTA SIGMA NV. 1953-1954
