For weeks we had been scrubbing, drilling, polishing, and preparing! Heading the team was Col. Charles H. Judson, Signal Corps, USA, from the N.Y. Military Dist., NYC. He served in both World Wars and the Korean Conflict. He was assisted by Maj. Stanley F. Karas, U.S. Inf., who was with the First Division in World War II and with the 8th Army in Korea. The inspecting officers arrived Monday morning and commenced the tour by a conference with Col. Dingley, and Maj. Angello.
