GGVERNMENT INSPECTIDN APRIL 12-131954 On April 12 the inspecting team from the Department of the Army arrived at the Academy for the annual two- day Government Inspection of NYMA, upon which is based its rating in the ROTC program as an Honor School for Military Institutes. For weeks we had been scrubbing, drilling, polishing, and preparing! Heading the team was Col. Charles H. Judson, Signal Corps, USA, from the N.Y. Military Dist., NYC. He served in both World Wars and the Korean Conflict. He was assisted by Maj. Stanley F. Karas, U.S. Inf., who was with the First Division in World War II and with the 8th Army in Korea. The inspecting officers arrived Monday morning and commenced the tour by a conference with Col. Dingley, and Maj. Angello. Judson paid high tribute to Cadet First Capt. Kotsonis and to Col. Dingley and Maj. Townsend for the excellent perfor- mance by the Corps.
