This philosopher must have had Mr. XVright in mind, for it would be hard to draw a better description of his cheery methods or the remarkable results he gets from his many classes. t The original work in this book was all made under his direction, and when we think of the age and experience of the artists, we are proud of it. Mr. Fawcett and Mr. Larmou have been able assistants and altogether the year has been the most successful since the department was organized. The clock shown in the picture to the right was built by a group of cadets in the manual training classes, and stands in the hallway by the superin- tendent's office.
