NE WA HI SENIOR CLASS HISTORY In the year of 19516 one the day of Septembei 17 thlrty nine confused freshmen ntered the newly built New Washington H1 h School Our first step toward becom ng Seniors was the election of dependable officers. They were: President, Roberta sborn' Vice-President, Mary Ann Kaple: Secretary-Treasurer, Irene Strohmg Stu ent Councll Irene Strohm and Sherry ECKSTGIII Our class advlsor was Mr Kenneth ummms In November 1956 we got better acquainted by having a class party and ance. Later in February, we enjoyed askating party at Bucyrus. Widely, known for our angelic mannerisms While attending dear old N. W. H. S., we have all finally reached our desired destination, Heaven, The immortal Barbara Frantz was recently elected the first woman President of the United Heavens. Her success was due to her brilliant promoters, Barbara Gies, Madeline Ulmer, and Beverly Watson who have spent centuries -preparing suitable speeches, tours, etc. David Snyder and Tom Kaple have gone on another expedition, this time to paint the moon pink. But they always were color conscious. Ah-h, listen to that heavenly music. Irene Strohm has done wonders with our choir of little angels. Kenneth Studer, assistant to St. Peter, has gon-e back to school to learn how to count higher, because he can't make out the last thousand numbers in St. Peter's Great Account Book. Janet Badertscher has agreed to take full responsibility for instruct ing this crazy mixed up kid. , If you have noticed that the nights just aren't' what they used to be, it's becaus Mary Ann Kaple and her assistant, Marilyn Wenzlick, have designed a seven-point star. How exquisite! Farmers Jim Pitzen, Allison Shell, Chuck Pifher, and Harry Aichholz have cre ated a new method to rotate the clouds so that the crops of harps will grow to be o better quality. But it doesn't seem to be working, the clouds are beginning to tur black, and some are secreting water. Sharon Steigerwalt, Sue Bevis and Lucille Hiler, who operate the fashi-onable Clouc Hopper,Dancing Studio, designed to teach the boys to jitterbug, have announce that thelfolliowing boys willpsoon, graduate: Bobby Kaiple, Roger Rettig, and Joh Vanichek. ' I . Clarabelle Stacklin, our faithful head nurse, and her assistant, Carol Schank, hav been kept busy mending broken wings. I wish the class of 60 would quit trying t fly too soon. Why, Larry Bishop and Alan Cramer have been convalescing in th Heavenspital for several light years n-ow! Won't those hot wingers ever learn? Look out! Someone might get hurt. Sam Hosey and Larry Kimmel insist upon try ing to throw clouds through the angels' halos. They must think they are still playin basketball for the Dutchtown Indians. Velma Snipes and Dloris Donnersbach have earned the honorable position of pol ishing the rainbo-ws. Since their duties include polishing of the rainbows of ever planet, they must ride the cosmic rays, which are the fastest means of travel in Heav en. So if after an April shower, no rainbow appears, you'll know-somebod, goofedl And so, my dear Alma Mater, it is farewell until We meet again, for perhaps you too, will reach this heavenly paradise.
