Mr. Cummins Student Council . . . ...... Irene Strohm, Sherry Eckstein Bright and early on September 17, 1956, the starry-eyed freshmen started their first day in New Washington High. The class had a party which took place in November, it was a square dance held in the school auditorium. They really seemed to enjoy themselves. Also they had a skating party in February. This was really a hit with the kids, because most of them were sore. A few of the boys have athletic ability.
