Mr. Eberwine The future class of '59 assembled on September 6, 1955, to become the talented freshmen of N. W. H. S. The class officers were: President, Barbara VanOrsdallg Vice-President, Lewis Evans, Secretary-Treasurer, Delberta Ankney. Barbara Van- Orsdall and Barbara Rothschild were chosen for the Reserve Basketball games. Cal- vin McCarthy, Dick Ackerman, and Jerome Meyer contributed athletic ability. The Sophomore year went fast. Also this year Barbara VanOrsdall was a Re- serve Basketball cheerleader and Barbara Rothschild a Varsity Basketball cheer- leader. The class enjoyed this year tremendously: but they are anxious to be Juniors.
