.......: m2; Seventy students, ten custodians, and thirty-five teachers began moving things from the old brick school, built in the 1920s, into the new one. Once everything was moved, the new school looked quite spectacular. November twenty-sixth, the big day had finally arrived. It was the first day of school in the new high school. Everyone was excited and anxious to attend. The new school was quite a change from the 01d school's wood floors, peeling walls, and plaster cracked Ceilings. The memories and good times will always remain a part ofthe students of old New Washington High School, and new experiences await the new New Washington High School.

A Moving Experience at N.WH.S. 5 On a chilly December morning, the majority of the high school students filed out of their classrooms to watch the de- struction of the old New Washington High School. As the students watched, a sea of bitter-sweet memories flowed through their minds. It was a sad occasion but everyone knew their memories would never die. In August, 1984, the m0ve from the old building to the new was Originally scheduled. The move had to be postponed on two occasions because of the weather conditions and minor prob- lems of construction. Finally, November nineteenth was the day the move would take place.
