Track Team “78” Members of the team were: Steve Robison David Stutesman Doug Sarver Kevin Barton Sam Taflinger David Cole Dave Barton Scott Rush Tom Lock John Fielding Jerry Lock Walter Brown Managers: Tim Webb Leroy King Stats: Beverly Gillner The varsity track team wrapped up its spring season beating five teams out of ten meets. Steve Robison beat the school record for the 220 yd. dash with a time of 23.4 sec. and David Stutsman set a new school record for the 330 yd. low hurdles with a time of 48.4 sec. Some of the schools that the team had victory over were. Madison Shawe. Lanesville. and Switzerland Co. Steve Robison received most valuable for the year, while Tom Lock received most improved and Wal- ter Brown the 100% award. Each mem- ber lettered with the highest average of individual points accumulated for the team in many past years. Coaches comments- Thank heaven a new track this year!!!!!
