ln '58 the Juniors sure were great. WE WON! .luniors enjoyed their trip to Paris. So did the judges, but the Seniors went Berserk, We'II strive to our utmost, showing sportsmanship too. Dear Utrecht, were loyal to you. Uur .lunior Year brought Arsenic and Old Lacef' a televised Litrecht football game, Sam Levenson, practice College Boards, a Barn Dance, the Merit Scholar- ship Test, Sing victory parties, a pigeon in the assembly, and the birth of the fencing, tennis and soccer teams. LOOK, LOOK, SENIORS ON THE WAY Passes, we torge passes. To quote a well known Senior: 6'They marked me cutting just because I was in Chookiesfi' Cheer them on, dear Boosters, cheer them on. While the twirlers twirl, and our cheerleaders leap, it is inevitable that our Boosters will form an N.L'. arzd tllr. Charry will lead the band in the school song. In Utrecht we are always sneaking bites ot lunch in classes. We really don't understand this because as Seniors we have no classes and four lunch periodsll We're having mid-terms in the morning. Midterms arzd Regents-the dread of any normal child. Seniors are victorious: spirit and spark are glorious. if rl WE WON AGAIN! Sophs turned blue lwe guess from their 'cWinter Wonder- land j and ,luniors red when we returned victorious from Atlantis. There'll be no more lockers to sneak through, no more hallways to creep through, no more excuses to think ot . . Our hearts are breaking atter all these years. Who can stop us trom shedding tears? Utrecht l-lighl With our English and history Regents safely passed, and with a sigh, we receive our diplomas and a flood of memories. We think of the Regents Scholarship test, our College Board marks. eiril service tests, college applications, the flooded hfth floor, the student-faculty basketball game, the Project Talent tests, the Beatnik Dance, the gossip in the uTasself' the school concerts, crazy hat day. and appointments for COMET pictures. ln our senior term we recall electing senior officers and celebrities, and ordering jewelry, hats, and buttons. We remember, too, the senior show with its parody of nglflacbethf' Senior Day, lollipops. senior assemblies, the County Fair, the senior breakfast and boat- ride, the prom and graduation. Brooklyn meeis France in CaJrania's French class. The Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysees come to mind when we learn French culture from Miss Gesualdi, Mrs. Benjamin and Mrs. Wind.
