Jaclc Nehama and Charley MonTalbano were The sTandouTs oT The Team. Nehama, running The IZO-yard low hurdles, scored consisTenTly and placed no worse Than second all season. Lenny Gurin was anoTher sTandouT. His TirsT place in The high- iump in The SchenecTady meeT helped The Team gain a highly respecTable sTanding. The LlTes placed Third in The Brooklyn championship meeT, wiTh Jack Nehama and Charley MonTalbano boTh coming Through wi+h TirsTs in Their respecTive evenTs. The Cardinal l-layes meeT was anoTher success Tor The Brownemen as They placed eighTh in a large Tield. Joe Barone sTarred in This meeT, gaining TirsT place in The 300-yard dash. Also on The disabled lisT was Phil Tesoriero, who became ill early in The season. ForemosT among Them are Jaclc Nehama, Joe Barone, and AnThony MasTronardi. INTRAMURAL BOWLING For The TirsT Time in The hisTory oT New UTrechT, an inTramural bowling Tourna- menT was held, under The direcTion oT Mr, Leonard Mandel. The TurnouT Tor The conTesT was much larger Than expecTed, a ToTal oT TiTTeen Teams applying Tor mem- bership, alThough only Ten Teams could be accommodaTed. The winners oT The TournamenT, who were decided aTTer a playoTT, were The San- anTones, closely Trailed by The NaTionals and The Ten Pins.
