However, it was against htanuat that the Buccos went down to their most overwhelming defeat, as the highly favored Blue and Gold scored ,5 times against a scoreless Green team. Continuing their quest for the coveted Brooklyn Divisional Championship the Utrecht quintet smashed through to their third consecutive P.S.A.L. tri- umph hy trouncing Manual Training hy the overwhelming score ot 47-21. With the score standing at three all in the early stages of the tirst quar- ter, Frey severed the tie hy sinking two touts. Vvatcs and Vxfeinherg coun- tered four more and Larry Jacohson ran the score to 14-5 at the quarter hy tattying tive. Utrecht completely dominated the second quarter with Frey ringing up tive points, Wake four. Weinberg two and Spittcowitz one. Coach Gotdherg momentarily hatted the harrage hy suhstituting the entire second squad near the close of the half, which ended with the Buccos leading to the tune of 26-9. The second half was an exact replica of the tirst, with the hig Green dis- playing its fight and the ahitity to score at will. Jacohson's set shots netted him ten points in this halt, Ruhin chattced up four, Frey three, Vvatcs two and Hoenig two. The tinat score was 47-21. Next to fait prey to the Utrecht quintet was a ptuctxy Lincoln tive. Starting oft stowty, the Utrecht machine, sparked hy the tine tietd marshall- ing ot Captain Frido Frey, ran up an 8-5 lead at the quarter. The Green quintet made its tinat bid of the past term against the highty-rated Erasmus team. Although the Buccos had staked victory ctaims over ixfiadison, Lafayette, Lincoln and Nlanuat, the Dutchmen proved too much for the Utrecht cagemen, who went down to a 59-29 defeat. High scorers for the Erasmus outtit were Niayhtum and Fteischman with 15 and 11 points, respectively. Playing a sterting man-to-man defense and employing a devastating passing attack, the Butt and Blue garnered a 10-5 lead at the quarter.
