Sophomore Class Chairman HAMMOND Freshmen Class Chairman ei-S602 T RI-SHIP 0 The Tri-Ship Club, winding up its twentieth year of service, has pre- sented a varied and extensive pro- gram of activities. Through these ac- tivities, the club has tried to foster its ideals of fellowship, sportsmanship, and citizenship among every boy at New Trier. The activities sponsored by the club that were carried out this year include the Parents, Day Football Game, the five popular Tri-Ship Dances, the annual student talent show 6'Lagniappe, the Mother and Son Banquet, and the Homecoming Football Game. In cooperation with the newly formed Dads' Club, Tri- Ship also sponsored the Football Ban- quet and the Spring Athletic Banquet, and along with Student Council it sponsored the Hallowe'en Party. Tri- Ship has also presented to every freshman boy a booklet in order to acquaint him with the many organi- zations of the club. In the nation's war effort, the club aided the Christmas Stocking Drive for hospitalized servicemen, the Scrap Drives in the villages, the French Clothing Drive, and the Red Cross Drive. It has also handled the Scrap Paper and Tin Can Salvage drives in school.
