BROWN KAHLER MALONEY HERRON BIESEMEIER 0 Little need be said of the achievements of the New Trier Administration and the Board of Education. Through their efforts, New Trier has obtained one of the highest scholastic ratings in the country. They have effectively seen to it that the school and activities run smoothly and properly. New Trier has benefited greatly through the outstanding work done by Matthew P. Gaffney, superintendent for the past thirteen years. He has striven for pleasant relationships between the faculty and the students, and has tried to see that every student gets as much as possible from his four years in high school. Aided by Mr. W. L. Brown, Business Manager and Assistant Superin- tendent, Mr. H. H. Herron, Registrar and Office Supervisor, Mr. F. A. Kahler, Dean of Boys, Miss Helen Maloney, Dean of Girls, and Mr. R. F. L. Biesemeier, Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds, Mr. Gaifney has succeeded in making our school one of the best in the country. The task of taking care of all class affairs falls upon the adviser chair- man. They direct adviser-room work throughout the year and act as a link between the advisers and the deans.
