The magazine committee with the vice-president acting as chairman, brought this drive to a successful conclusion. The Financial Committee headed by Barbara Barnett established new records in the sale of hot-dogs at the football games. An all-time high of 3,000 hot-dogs was sold at the memorable Evanston game. More than 150 girls were given jobs this year through the Employment Committee. Florence Billings was the chairman. The current employment situation made the work of this committee important. The girls on the Friendly and Social Committees efliciently han- dled that aspect of Girls' Club. With Maribel Sears and Marian Peter- son as chairmen, the annual Friendly Banquet and Father-Daughter Dinner were given. A Freshman-Senior party, and a supper for new girls were held at the beginning of the year. Girls' Club in cooperation with Tri-Ship participated in the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Red mramm
