gif. gtdff Q The precision and efficiency with which the school is oper- ated would be seriously impaired were it not for the Girl,s Office Staff. The group grew rapidly this year as did its many duties and responsibilities. The staff was made up of Junior and Senior girls, assigned at least one period a day to the Registrar's Office. These volunteers assist the regular Office Staff at the counter and in the front office. They have been most important in taking the place of teachers by doing this service. Another group of this nature is the Student Visual Educa- tion Service StaH. Mr. Charles Gibson has been in charge of this staff for many years, and the authority and responsibility for the work rest wholly with him. But he is assisted by ten New Trier boys who give up their free periods to help him with this work. This year, its importance was particularly great, as it helped in the war effort by releasing many teachers for other more important work. REGISTRAIPS OFFICE Row 1: F. Willett, M. Hale, J.
