ADVISER CH IRMEN KAHLER MALONEY VERNON BRADY GRINNELL HURST REILEY SHAW 14 miniA te-qtion 0 The New Trier students owe the Administration and the Board of Education a great deal of gratitude for improving the school facilities and seeing that everything in the school runs smoothly and properly. The school has gained its exceedingly high scholastic rating only through the diligent work of Matthew P. Gaffney. During his twelve years as superintendent of New Trier he has also striven for better relations between the faculty and the students, as well as seeing that each student gains as much as possible in his years at the school. New Trier may well be proud of the endless service and work Mr. Gaffney has put forth in his years as principal. Also Mr. Gaffney has been greatly helped by Miss Helen Maloney, the new Dean of Girls, Mr. F. A. Kahler, Dean of Boys, Mr. W. L. Brown, Business Manager, and Mrs. R. F. L. Biesemeier, Superintendent of Build- ings and Grounds. The task of seeing that all school affairs and activities function prop- erly is placed upon the Board of Education. Mr. Ballman, Mr. Barnett, Mr. Putnam, Mr. Hinners and Mr. Anderson, President, have all worked hard to accomplish this. The adviser chairmen are in charge of all class affairs, and the direc- tion of the adviser room work throughout the year. The adviser chairmen are the links between the advisers and the Dean. y DEPART E T HEADS Art Commerce English Foreign Languages Health Home Economics Industrial Arts MURPHY JOHNSON HUTCHENS SMALL SCHOENENBERGER LIGHTER BIESEMEIER Library Mathematics Music .Physical Education 0161100 Social Studies LIBBEY SNYDER coTToN CGIHSD CBOYSD WINDOES ULLRICK BOULTON CHILDS
