On sayings of wise men we can depend, One of these is that all good things must end. To the many things we all have planned, Use the opportunities of our land. But, to reach our goal we must think and say, Success will be ours e'en though far away, If we do our share of both work and play. And to those who follow close behind, We advise that they always keep in mind The things learned here, to use in Life'-s School The best of these being the Golden Rule. So now we part, and smiling, prepare . Of the world's great tasks, to do our share, But though now we smile, many times we'll sigh For our happy days in Straitsville High. - Janet Downs - Class Colors Class Flower Green and White Pink Rose Class Motto THE SHIP OF PROGRESS IS PILOTED BY EDUCATION
