The 1955 Stantonian Staff under- took the publication of a yearbook with ahardcover. It was the first such effort in the twenty seven year history of our school. Realizing from the very inception of the idea that it would be very costly to publish such a book with over one hundred pages, a very intensive campaign was inaugur - ated for the raising of funds. Bus - iness were canvassed for support, adult organizations in the school area were contacted, orders were taken at the unbelievably low price of one dollar per copy, and a ser- ies of evening school activities were planned. All these proved to be great money raisers and with much support from our P.T,A, , the staff was able to b-ring to the students this 1955 Stantonian which they hope you will cherish and which is Worth to you all the hard work and cash involved in its pro- duction. Linda, William McCvuffey, and William Hayes receiving some expert advice on selecting and arranging photos from Mr. Tomkon, Art advisor. while Diane takes great delight in Dick's Work. Shirley, Warren, Gerald and Phyllis learn that selecting, cropping, and pasting is a never-ending job.
