MEMORIAE Q7Y7 On November 6 1953 the class decided to have a Thanksgiving turkey raffle. Three turkeys were to be raf fled off at the Sportman's Club The raffle was held on the night of November 22 In the Girls' Glee Club there were Vivian Bourbeau, Jean Carey Marcia LeClaire, Marilyn Haney, Pearl Marcy, and Evelyn Joslin In the Boys' Glee Club there were Warren Fellows and Edwin Stowell The Girls' Basketball Team was composed of the follow ing students Marilyn Haney, Jean Carey, Marcia LaClaire and Pearl Marcy. The Boys' team had the following Juniors on it Fred Hardy, Donald Little, James Patrick, Edwin Stowell, Robert Brackley, and Richard Lelghton The cheerleaders for the team were Jean Carey, Evelyn Joslin and Marcia LaClaire In April 1953, the Junlor Varlety Show was presented laughs from the largest audlence ln the four years we have been here In May, we had charge of selling the refreshments at Um grammar school Field Day we handled it splendldly, if I do say so myself Marcia LaClaire, Pearl Marcy, and Richard Leighton were members of the Natlonal Honor Society Frank Webster and George Hunt left before the year ended Leo Bottomly w1ll now take you through the events the Senior year SENIORS l9Sh 1955 We started school two days after Labor Day in September There were fifteen boys and six girls, a total of twenty one 6CD Q7 D I 9 , . . .
