Class Prophecy As my train sped toward my destination, New Ross, Indiana, the conductor stopped to ask me for my ticket, Much to my surprise the condoctor was Dale Houser, As Dale and I talked over old times, I learned that he and Marilyn Bush were married and the parents of four children, Dale said that Bill Largent was the engineer on the train, I asked if I might talk to Bill and he said that I could, As my train pulled into the station, I bid farewell to Bill and Dale, just as soon as I stepped from the train steps I saw a familiar face, it happened to be Barbara Stanleyf She told me that she was a dress designer and a model in New York City and that she was home on vacation, She surprised us when she said she had been married for seven years, ' After I left Barbara, I walked over to the information booth, low and behold there sat Darlene Stout, I asked her if she would call a taxi for me, as I stood there talking with her, I discovered that she was unmarried because she hadn't found the right man, When the taxi got there, I opened the door and saw the driver was Janice Keller, janice told us that this was her job as she had to work her way through Notre Dame, At that moment a tire went flat, Janice called the garage for them to come fix the tire, As the truck came to a stop, the garageman was Melvin Routh, Melvin told me that he owned the largest garage in town and during his free time he played basketball on the New Ross independent team, Melvin told me where I could find some more of my friends, The largest department store in town was owned by joan Haley, As I started to her office, I met her private secretary, Pat Ludwig, As we talked she told me that she had been married for several years, She took me into joan's office and we sat there and talked about old times for quite a while, joan had taken her chances and stayed single, I As I came out the door a motor cycle went whizzing by, A second later a police car went by chasing it, As they came to a stop I noticed that the rider of the motorcycle was Dale Newton and the police car was driven by Barbara Morgan, We learned that Dale runs a motorcycle shopddown the street and Barbara was a lieutenant on the police force, I As we continued down the street I came to a Sportsman's stop, As I glanced in the window I saw Fred Harris behind the counter, So I went into the shop and talked to him, As we talked, he said that he had finally found the right girl and settled down to married life, H As I walked back to the railroad station, I realized that I had seen and talked to all of the members of the class of 1954,
