Mrs. Marsh--Advisor, Pam Tucker--Pres. and Sec. of E.H.L. Student Council, Bob Holman, Linda Donham. Sara Gilfiuen. STANDING: Steve McKinley. Ken Cummins. Diane Carries. Charles Haas, Mike Hoh, Mike Taylor, Jack Taylor, Wes Redfield--Pres. of E. H. L. Student Council, Sandy Epply, Dennis Sputgeon. Terry Evans, Jim Glueck, Jetty Adams, Lois Brewsaugh, Gayle Wingo, Patsy Patinet. The effective Student Council serves three publics: the administration. the student body, and the community. This past year the New Richmond Student Council has worked in all three areas. In aiding the administration, council helped to schedule student activities and to bring the students' permanent records up-to-date by devising a student activities form. In co-operation with the student body. the Student Council initiated the Homecoming Parade and planned the Homecoming ceremonies. Another project was the Student of the Month, designed to honor one outstanding student each month. Also for the first time, vot- ing booths were used in Student Council elections. In the last phase of Student Council work the council volunteered its services in the Let's Paint the Whole Bloomin' Town campaign and in the March of Dimes drive. Among honors that came to council this year were election of Wesley Redfield as presi- dent of E. H. L. and Pam Tucker as secretary of E. H. L. Also our council was very active in League. Area. State and National Student Councils.
