Martin, Boys, As the years have passed, the choral classes of New Richmond have grown, both in stature and in musical ability. Through the efforts of Mr. John Michael Ward, the chorus has, become invaluable to New Richmond High School. This year the chorus Will present both a Christmas cantata and a spring musical to the public. Included in the chorus is the Clef Club. composed of girls who are able to meet the club's stand- ards. The Clef Club annually holds an elaborate rush party for new members, and a silver tea for the mothers of the members. Also, in the chorus is found the Glee Club, made up of boys. These boys hold an annual rush party which consists of a breakfast in a restaurant. Les Chanteurs, which is a recent organization. is composed of eight girls and twelve boys. These musi- cians sing for various affairs of the community. Besides the various dances spon- sored by the Clef and Glee Clubs, the annual xShamrock Dance is sponsored by the Mixed Chorus. All of the students in chorus deserve much praise for their fine ef- forts. ,

Yes. he does look like. Karloff! But, Johnny, I gotta operate. The Junior class, under the direction of Mrs. Leslie. presented the thtee-act play, Arsenic and Old Lace. This comedy dealt with the lives of two elderly mutderesses, Abby and Martha Brewster, who had murdered various old men with the most charitable intention. Their nephew, Mortimer, discovered these murders and frantic- ally tried to protect his aunts from the police and his evil brothet,Jonathar1. The play was most successful and was enthusiastically received by the audiences. Mr. President, stop blowing that bugle! 'h Canht you take a hint? Just one more!
