Trying to find a lost article needed for page one or waiting until the final copy could be completed in order that the paste-up might be finished before the final bell of the school day gave the staff members hectic moments. Needing the missing headline made a staff member rush to the typing room- or that misspelled word on page 6- causing the staff typists to hurriedly get the word spelled correctly and to the page editor so that the word could be spliced into position for the final copy. Deadlines were met though as the rated Cougar Reporter continued its reputation of disseminating school news to the school and community. Brian Will-editor; Marguerite Casper-assislant editor.
