One. two, three ... keeping in shape by exercising provides a basis for future health. Today’s healthy student is tomorrow’s healthy adult. One year of P.E. is required for graduation as well as one semester of health. But many young athletes continue their body-building program throughout their high school years to keep in shape, while others take P.E. just for pure enjoyment. Guess what we're going to do now? Students take pride in their plant project. Ivan and Kevin work together to weigh an object. Liz views cells under a microscope. New Prairie science department offered a wide variety of courses providing for varying interests and abilities. One year of a laboratory science is required for high school graduation; students may decide to major in science following an introductory course. New Prairie offered such courses as general science, earth science, biology, chemistry, and physics. 22-Curriculum
