HOME ECONOMICS Read the directions before you start sewing. Group discussion is a major part of family living. Preparing students for the future was a past of the Home Ec classes. In these classes students learned cooking and sewing skills. Students also learned what is involved in raising a family by enrolling in family living class and child-care class.
