Empty hallways, unopened books, and blank paper are nothing until they reflect the personalities of the people who use them. People, working, leading, com- peting, winning, add the brightness and vivid color that makes New Prairie unique. Each person, no matter how in- significant he feels, is a basic part of that coloring. Being more than just a neutral shade of that coloring takes involvement in the events that happen. When a person is involved he is more than just a part of life; he is the vivid coloring that adds interest and variety to the whole pic- ture.
