DEDICATION It has been a very unusual year. Combining two previously rival schools into one united corporation under one roof was not an easy job. But amidst the panic, even though we didn't realize it at the time, the most important factor in the success of our school was being born. We call it friendship. We have become one school, accepting each other as friends and classmates, regardless of our former prejudices. Old traditions are gone. They have disappeared to make way for the new ones that have been formed in this first year at New Prairie. It is to these new traditions that we dedicate this book, in the hope that they will be carried on faithfully throughout the history of New Prairie High School.
