Sports Basketball The New Pans Basketball Team for 1958 59 ended the season wrth seven vrctorres and tblrteen defeais We started the season wrth a bang, wrnmng our frrst four games One of the better games of the season was the New Parrs Mxllersburg game m winch the Cubs had a nme pornt wm, We lost some heart breakers by only one or two pornfs The band played at all of our home games and gave specral performances at some of the games On February 10 at the Concord game, Lrnda Searls was crowned the Rrley Queen of 1959 Other candrdates were Sandra Strlle, Peggy Krrkdorffer, and Marrlyn Yoder The Cubs will lose four sensor lettermen this year They are jun Clem, Jerry Marquart, Carl Ramer, and Mrke Zelhnger Other letter wnmers thrs year are Hyce Schrock, Ron Stahley, and Jerry Snyder, Jrmrors, Steve Neff, sophoma-e, Terry Reed and Jrm Shaver, managers At the Lrons Club Basketball Banquet on March 9, the followrng boys recexved specral recognruon.
