M. C. A. Our motto is 'Clean Living, Clean Speech, Clean Sports, and Clean Scholarship. The purpose of the Hi-Y is To create, maintain, and extend, throughout the home, school, and community, high standards of Christian character. We held initiation December l, 1957 at the high school. Eleven new members were initiated. The club membership includes boys in their Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years. Mr. Jackson is our advisor along with our officers: President, Dick Hibschmang Vice President, Tom Tarmang Secretary, David Smoker: and Treasurer, Bill Mishler. We sponsored several assembly programs at different times throughout the school year. The Sen- ior members all received sweaters as a reward for their work.
