We sent her off with a bang and a tear in her eye as well as an invitation to come back to see us often. Now, who will polish up the glass and polish up our lives? 1969 1968 1975 1976 1977 Hard Work 1971 1973 Hi there’’ Board Of Education Dear Graduating Seniors: As “free individuals” we must now realize and deal with the reality that individual freedom and rights as defined by the current vernacular is not freedom at all. The Iranian hostage siguation clearly focuses on the dilemma, that individual freedom is not (nor can it be for mankind to survive) devoid of responsibility, commitment and accountability. The pursuit of freedom and rights whether it be by an individual, religious group, political group, majority or minority group, must always be mindful of others’ rights and freedom. Unfortunately the pursuit of rights; justice and equality has all to often resulted in injustices and inequalities perpetrated on other individuals or groups. It is my hope that you and your generation will be able to better resolve the discord between individual freedom and society, thus preserving each human being’s dignity, freedom and rights. With warm wishes and must success for the future. Mrs. Sally Rhoads Sally M. Rhoads, President, Board of Education Mr. Paul Levine Mi .Mary-Janc Ordway Photo Not Available Mrs. Jane Palcic Dr. Herman Walker 4 Administration And Staff 6 Dear Graduates: The Twentieth Century began with the promise of a better life for Americans. Although the path was not always smooth and hardships were encountered the resolve of the people of this nation led to a more democratic society concerned with the general welfare of all Americans. As we approach a new decade and in a few years a new century we must continue our resolve and commitment, not only for the quality of life in our own country, but also our neighbors in all nations. This school is graduating some of the finest young men and women that this country can produce. We, the older generation, look forward to your leadership in the complex world ahead. We hope we have helped you in this first major step into society. We wish you success for your own sake as well as ours. Sincerely, H. Kenneth Salenger High School Principal Mr. Thomas P Bcnenati Mrs. L. Schrcibcr. See.
