America the Beautiful! What a splendid theme for the 1963 Huguenot! America is beautiful. The rock-bound coast of Maine, the palm-fringed beaches of Hawaii, the amber fields of the plains, the mighty Niagara, the moss-hung oaks of the South, the many-hued forests of New England—these are but part of the glorious beauty of our wonderful land. But America the Beautiful is deeper than all these. It is our way of life. It is our right to vote, to stand up for what we deem right. It is our freedom to worship God in accordance with our faith. It is our right to an education, regardless of our race, creed or social position. It is all these as much as the glorious beauty of our land.
