VVhat we didnt know regarding the rules and regulations we picked up soon after our arrival with the help of our two advisori, llri. LaF1lce and lIrs. lIcKenna. VVith a class roll of seventy we found our- selves carrying a lot of influence in the student council elections--one of the first events of the school year. As a result we were able to place Pa- tricia VVill in the Council as Treasurer. That the class of l9D-lb is a Go-Getter class was well illustrated during the annual Stu ent Council BI'ljI'lZlflt' Drive when we were far out in front in both total sales 'ind sales per student. As a result of our efforts we were given an ice cream party. Pat VVill and Nancy Iwoehrke both won a trip to New York City where they saw Hgouth Pacific . Beatrice VVenclover won the drawing prize of 325 and two tickets to the Army-New lfexico Football game.
