As a class, the Juniors have passed the half way mark of the trials and tribulations of a high school career. This year as the officers, of our ship on the stormy sea of education, we elected Robert Sutton as Admiral , Carolyn Cotton as Vice-Admiral . and Vivian Schiro as Keeper of the Log and Treasury. VVe started our voyage under the advisorship of lllr. Fersh by looking forward with great anti- cipation to our Prom and the purchase of our class rings. Our anticipations were fulfilled when we received the rings in February and when our Prom. given in April, with Cinderella Ball as our theme, added to our list Of happy memories. The class of nineteen hundred fifty-two has caused more than one comment since the time when its members first embarked on their four years of fun and hard work at New Paltz High School. This is probably due to the fact that the class be- lieves in doing things. Proof of this fact was given at Christmas time when the artistic talent of our group was com- bined with many hours of hard work on the part of most of the classmates in decorating our room for the Christmas party. Our effort was rewarded, however, when the judges awarded our room with its theme. HThe Christmas Storyn first honors with its prize of an ice cream party.
