THE HUGUENOT ROSE PIZZUTO Activities: Glee Club 2, 3, 4. Destination: Eastman-Gaines Business College, New York City. Rose is a very talented musician. We certainly appreciated her playing during the noon-hour. BETTY PAUL Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: O. M. N. 2, 3, 4; Glee Club 1, 2, 3; Dramatic Club 3; Sophomore Class President. We shall surely all miss Bettv’s pleasing manner and amusing remarks. We feel sure she will have as large a following as she had during her career at N. P. H. S. MARY RADLEY Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: O. M. N. 2, 3, 4. (Critic) 2-Dramatic Club 3, 4; Glee Club 1. 2, 3, 4 (Treas.) 2; Vice President Soph. Class; Sec. Senior Class: Art Editor Year Book; Varsity Cheerleader 2; Salutatorian. Mary was very capable as Art Editor of the Year Book, and we appreciate her worthwhile endeavors. If you should ever see Radley hiking around in a farmerette’s attire, don’t take her seriously. JAMES REID “Jimmie” Destination: Cornell. Activities: Editor of H. S. Notes 4; Varsity Basketball 4; J. V. Basketball 3; Debating Team 3, 4; Dramatic Club 3, 4; Mgr. Basketball 4; Business Mgr. Year Book; Pres. Junior Class; Vice President; Dramatic Club; Valedictorian. “Jimmie” has certainly shown great ambition as an executive along with our President. He is distinguished by his intellectual ability in all subjects, and his winning ways resulted in his being selected most popular. 19 3 3 Page nineteen

Her work always proves favorable which is a fine quality for anyone. CHARLOTTE OATES “Oates” Destination: William and Mary. Activities: 0. M. N. 2, 3, 4, (Treas.) 3, 4; Glee Cluh 1, 2, 3, 4; Dramatic Club 3, 4, (Pres.) 3; Basketball Manager 4. Everyone has a good word for Oates She was always very friendly and was well liked by all. Her jolly personality won her admiration, and we will surely miss her presence in the future. LENA M. OTIS “Lee” Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: Dramatic Club 3. Lena always managed to get her work in on time. She was very diligent and worked hard to attain her goal. RALPH PALMER “Puff” Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: Basketball J. V. 3; V. 4. A familiar slap on the back, and the toot of a horn spelled the presence of none other than our “Puff”. And wasn’t he always gracious to the girls on chilly mornings? Page eighteen

Activities: Basketball 1, 2, 3, 4; Baseball 3; Debate Team 3; Chairman Political Science Forum 3; Dramatics 1, 2, (Operetta ). Sam is best known to us as a happy-go-lucky lad. May success be his who entered fully in all activities, and who never had a care. RUTH SEWARD “Seward” Destination: New Jersey College for Women. Activities: Basketball 1, 2, 3, 4; Glee Club 1, 2, 3, 4; Dramatic Club 3, 4; Debate Team 4; 0. M. N. 2, 3, 4; Woman’s Ed. of Year Book; Sec. Soph. Class; V. Pres. Senior Class. Seward is certainly a pal to all, and has sociable qualities and winning ways. She will be greatly missed by the Maroon and White, but no doubt she will succeed. GRACE SINAGRA “Grade” Destination: Albany State College for Women. Activities: Glee Club 4. Grace, our quiet but studious classmate, has been a great help in solving many of our problems. She has made many friends by her continuous smile and pleasing ways. ANDREW THOMPSON “Andy” Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: Basketball J. V. 4; Debate Team 3, 4; Baseball J. V. 3, V. 4; Dramatic Club 3, 4; Men’s Ed. of Year Book. “Andy” was always willing to enter into all activities with great vim and vigor.
