Her work always proves favorable which is a fine quality for anyone. CHARLOTTE OATES “Oates” Destination: William and Mary. Activities: 0. M. N. 2, 3, 4, (Treas.) 3, 4; Glee Cluh 1, 2, 3, 4; Dramatic Club 3, 4, (Pres.) 3; Basketball Manager 4. Everyone has a good word for Oates She was always very friendly and was well liked by all. Her jolly personality won her admiration, and we will surely miss her presence in the future. LENA M. OTIS “Lee” Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: Dramatic Club 3. Lena always managed to get her work in on time. She was very diligent and worked hard to attain her goal. RALPH PALMER “Puff” Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: Basketball J. V. 3; V. 4. THE HUGUENOT mMSMM ELAINE KNIFFEN “Shrimp” Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: Glee Club 1, 2, 3, 4; Vice President 3; Orchestra 4; Political Science Forum 3. Elaine is a very studious girl. She is an accomplished cornetist and was the backbone of the orchestra. MARY LUCY “Lousy” Destination: Business School. Activities: O. M. N. 2, (Treas.) 3, (Pres.) 4; Basketball 1, (Captain) 2, (Mgr.) 3, 4; Dramatic Club 3; Social Committee 3, 4. “Lousy”, Lucy or what have you, was one of the best guards of the wonder team of ’33. She was always willing to go anywhere at any time. We will always remember—“Going home now?” BETTY LUTIN “Bet” Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: Glee Club 2, 3, 4; Debate Team 4; Class Basketball, Captain 3; Dramatics 3; Ring Committee 4. Betty is small in size, but she contributes a lot to our class. She was always ready with an idea and kept us alive with the thought that we must work hard to accomplish things for the maroon and white. MARIE LE FEVRE “Minnie” Destination: Unknown. Activities: Glee Club 4; Debate Team 4; Circulating Manager 4; Secretary of Junior Class. We certainly appreciated her playing during the noon-hour. BETTY PAUL Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: O. M. N. 2, 3, 4; Glee Club 1, 2, 3; Dramatic Club 3; Sophomore Class President. We shall surely all miss Bettv’s pleasing manner and amusing remarks. We feel sure she will have as large a following as she had during her career at N. P. H. S. MARY RADLEY Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: O. M. N. 2, 3, 4. (Critic) 2-Dramatic Club 3, 4; Glee Club 1. 2, 3, 4 (Treas.) 2; Vice President Soph. Class; Sec. Senior Class: Art Editor Year Book; Varsity Cheerleader 2; Salutatorian. Mary was very capable as Art Editor of the Year Book, and we appreciate her worthwhile endeavors. If you should ever see Radley hiking around in a farmerette’s attire, don’t take her seriously. JAMES REID “Jimmie” Destination: Cornell. Activities: Editor of H. S. Notes 4; Varsity Basketball 4; J. V. Basketball 3; Debating Team 3, 4; Dramatic Club 3, 4; Mgr. Basketball 4; Business Mgr. Year Book; Pres. Junior Class; Vice President; Dramatic Club; Valedictorian. “Jimmie” has certainly shown great ambition as an executive along with our President.
