THE HUGUENOT CHESTER DECKER “Deck” Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: Basketball Varsity 4; Baseball 3, 4; Senior Social Committee; Assistant Circulating Manager Year Book. Chester is a very quiet lad who usually speaks only when spoken to. However, he is well-up in all subjects and has succeeded in making a long list of friends during his years at New Paltz High. MAE DIETRICH Destination: Unknown. Activities: Basketball 4; O. M. N. 4; Glee Club 3. Mae’s quiet manner and teasing ability have gained many friends for her. She always has a word for everyone, which means a lot. ALBERT DODD Destination: Fordham University. Activities: Basketball 3; Debate Team 3; Political Science Forum 3; Dramatics 1, 2; (Operetta). Frances Buchanan’s running mate in the art of singing is none other than Doddie”. He successfully participated in two of our operettas, and he is now on his road to fame. lU HILDA M. DOLSON Destination: Study of Music. Activities: Dramatic Club 3. Hilda is the conservative type of girl, very cordial and pleasing. She was always the one to help in times of need. Raphael certainly has great ambitions for the future, and we feel sure he will meet with success, judging by his present interest in school work. FRANCES BUCHANAN “Bushie” Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: Glee Club 1, 2, 3, 4, (Treas.); O. M. N. 2, 3, (Sec.) 4, (V. Pres.); Dramatics 3, 4; Debate Team 4. Sweet and demure—“Bushie”. She is known to us as a singer, and we hope she will have an opportunity to develop her talent. MARY CARROLL Destination: St. Francis Hospital. Activities: Debate Team 2. Mary, our most poised classmate, was very conscientious and worked hard for all she accomplished. May she always retain her courteous qualities. MARGARET CLINTON “Clinton” Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: Dramatics 3, 4; Glee Club 2, 3, 4. Margaret possesses a winning personality and an excellent attitude toward everyone in N. P. H. She certainly has had a good start, judging by her various prizes won at the County and State Fairs. WILLIAM DUBOIS “Bill” Destination: New Paltz Normal. Activities: Dramatic Club 3; Class Secretary 2. “Bill” is one of those lads who never said much, but who took an active interest in all school affairs. RUTH FITCH “•Fitchie” Destination: Vassal- Hospital. Activities: Dramatic Club 3, 4: Basket U, 3 4: O. M N. 3, 4, (Pres. 4); Gle. Club 1, 2, 3, 4; Senior Social Committee. Fitch, as well as being one of our best varsity guards, was always peppy and good humored. She also handled the O. M. N. very capably this last year. ELEANOR GLANCY Destination: Undecided. Activities: Glee Club 1, 2, 3; Basketball 3, 4; Orchestra 4. Eleanor is the only member of our class who completed the course in the remarkable period of three years.
