 0. M. N President Mary Lucy Vice-President Minnie Lasher Secretary Mary Moran T reasurer Grace Has Brouck Advisor—Miss Helen Pendleton rHE O. M. N. is an organization of girls who are trying to better the school work and school spirit of our fellow members. We also try to make the social standards of our members better. The biggest event of the season is the annual trip to New York. In September we make all sorts of plans for the initiation of the new members. These are some initiations, and how! Nothing much goes on then until Christmas, when we give a skit at the Yuletidc Party. These skits cause much laughter. From Christmas until Easter we slave, slave, slave for the New York trip. We sell candy, have hot-dog sales, and numerous other things to raise money. We suppose the people of New Paltz and also some of the Normal Students think that all we have to do is collect money. We usually go running around, chasing up people telling them that they owe us five cents. Well, we all hope that next year the O. M. N. Girls will have a credit system so that the people won t be bothered so with their nickels. 26
