CJtittL r President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer Marjorie Tremper Edward Rhinehart Mildred Hansen Gordon Wood Faculty Advisor—Miss Conine J I 7E ARE Freshmen but don’t you Seniors get “cocky”, we will be Seniors Yy some day. Our pet name is Greenic”; well that's all right we all like green. High School is a new experience to us, but we have entered it with an open mind and high hopes for the future. As for our financial situation, we have had a candy sale, a food sale, and a hot-dog sale. A sad but a true fact is the one that we have no money in the treasury. -The reason for this is the Freshmen party given for the whole High School, but everyone had a good time so we were amply rewarded. Our Freshmen days have been joyful days but touched with tidings of hard work ahead. We only hope that the Freshmen of the future will have an easier time than we did. As a parting hope, we wish that the Sophomores will be fighting Juniors, the Juniors progressive Seniors, and the Seniors successes in their vocations. FRESHMEN CLASS 17

SOPHOMORE CLASS President .... Clyde Rutherford Vice-President Mary Radley Secretary . Ruth Seward Treasurer...........................John Moran Faculty Advisor—Miss Payne PERHAPS we Sophomores have not been in the headlines, but we are still sponsoring hopes for the future. We started off in September with aspirations which resulted in a very successful Hot Dog Roast for the Freshmen; and some splendid ideas for action during our Junior Year. Even if we haven’t done wonders under the title “Sophomores”, we do admit that we have tried to cooperate and help the other student organizations along the road to success. 16

THE CAST OF THE SENIOR PLAY rHE Senior Play, the “Nut Farm” was a success due to the spirited and talented cast which was composed largely of Seniors and Juniors. “Jimmie” Sherman played the part of Willie Barton, the irrepressible kid brother, who saved the day. The screen-struck sister Helen was well portrayed by Lula Wright, and the part of her husband, Bob Bent, was well interpreted by “Larry” Osterhoudt. Grace Has Brouck had the difficult role of Mother Barton, who carried the burden of the family troubles on her shoulders. As the dyed-in-the-wool villain, Hamilton T. Holland, “Ike” Bell was perfect, and his two partners in iniquity, Biddeford and Van Horton were well represented by “Walt” Dunham and “Beb” Barnes. Willie’s sweetheart, Agatha Sliscombc was played to perfection by Helen Bogert, and her father, Farmer Sliscombe, a lovable old fellow, who always did the wrong thing was played by Elting Harp. 18
