We, The Class of 1984, have finally reached our graduation year. The past three years were filled with achievements and dis- appointments. We, as Seniors, may look back and feel proud of what we have accom- plished as a class. As Sophomores, we took on different responsibilities. For the first time, we had to build a float for Homecom- ing. We didn't have a place to put it, so we had to build it on the stage. We attended our first high school dances, and ordered our jackets and rings. We walked the halls feel- ing lost and uninvited. As Juniors, we had a feeling of moving up and getting closer to our final goal. We felt proud as we earned enough money for the prom. Then we pulled together as a class to come up with our prom theme, “Open Arms.” As we look back, the prom was one of our greatest achievements. We also started thinking about looking for jobs and picking out colleges. Now we are Seniors and we look forward to graduating. We had a lot of fun exchang- ing Senior Pictures, and we enjoyed our class trip. Our Senior Year is the climax of twelve years of learning, growing, and mak- ing friends. Graduation is an ending, yet the beginning of a lifetime. We will always keep the memories of New Oxford High close to our hearts. The Class of 1984 leaves one message: Better Than Before — The Class of 1984.
