BASKETBALL BOY'S VARSITY BASKETBALL Left to Right-Robert Aldridge, Charles Sipe, Charles Griest, Richard Wiseman, Wayde Stover, James Millar, Fred Howe, Gene Yealy, Gerald Mummert, William Hull, Mr. Flegal, coach. The New Oxford dribblers got off to a good start this year, playing 11 exhibition games be- fore entering into any league contests. In league competition, New Oxford lost only 2 games, both to Boiling Springs. Despite the fact that this year's team did not add a trophy to the case, it was considered an unusually successful season with a record of 18 wins and 5 defeats. This was Coach Flegal's second year at New Oxford, and he has continued the fine work he started last year. The team, equipped with white satin sweat suits, maroon and white striped socks, and white shoes, presented an excellent appearance on the floor. Co-Captains Jim Millar and Charles Griest led the team, Other starters were: R. Wiseman, G. Yealy, and G. Mummert. F. Howe, a senior, also saw plenty of action. 0 28
