Larry Rarey, Junior Sebright, Herbert Crow, George Noel, Kenneth Nare, Richard Adams. F. F. A. ACTIVITIES Our chapter was granted a charter on the 29th day of March, 1939. In 1939 when our chapter was started it had 16 members in- cluding the adviser. The chapter has increased from 16 members to 26 members over a period of ten years. The chapter has more activities now than it did in 1939. The F. F. A. boys have organized a seed- OFFICERS President - - Maurice Myers Vice President - Glenn Cooley Secretary - Dale Auchey Treasurer - Lester Noel Reporter Charles Griest Sentinel - Wayde Stover Chaplain - - William Berwager co-op, basketball team, and Parent and Son banquet which is generally held in the fall of the year. With all the profit that the boy's make in a year, they plan a trip which is taken after the school term is over. There have been several honorary member- ship pins given to men who have helped our chapter. They are as follows: Mi. Charles C. Taylor, Mr. Selon Dockey, Mr. Charles Stough, Mr. George Adams, Mr. Robert Keith, Mr. Lester Kime, and Mr. Ivan M achtly. 25

OFFICERS President - Vice President Secretary - Treasurer Historian The F. H. A. Club had many activities dur- ing the past year. The first undertaking was to sell chocolate milk at noon, then a bake sale in November, followed by the selling of purses and assorted greeting cards. Members of the club assisted in the serving at the Band Fair and prepared the F. F. A. Parents and Son Banquet. A Tea was served juene WOU Bessie Griffin Marian Draper Pauline Sterner jean Haar to the faculty on Valentine's Day, and a Mother and Daughter Banquet will be held in the Spring. The colors of the club are red and white. Red stands for courage and determination, and white for purity of purpose. The club flower is the red rose, and the motto is To- ward new horizons. 26
