Senior Play CAST OF YOUNG APRIL ” Ralph Stambaugh (Brian Stanley), Patricia Alwine (Terry McIntyre), Janet Duttera (Mrs. McIntyre), William Flaherty (Professor McIntyre), Geraldine Myers (Diane Gil- more), Charles Stitt (George McIntyre), Nadine Sieg (Vivian Bailey), William Se- graves (Dutch), Anna Noel (fane), Louise Stump (Mildred), Richard Bittinger (Bert Parsons), Donald Reichert (Pete), Nadine Myers (Marian), Eileene Stump (Smc), Mary Helen Krug (Alex), Jean Little (Elsie), Anna Staub (Mrs. Miller), Julia Weikert (Lulu), and Ralph Klingel (Stewart Miller). Young April depicts the experiences of the McIntyres, presenting the two youngsters, Terry and George, in their later adolescence.” Terry has her beaux in rapid succession, almost marrying the ' wrong one,” until the kindly intervention of Mother and Dad steers her over,to the right one.” George discovers the sweetest girl in the world ” is only human after all. He is disillusioned for a time, but realizes he loves her just as she is. He is shown adjusting himself to some of the realities of life. Mr. and Mrs. McIntyre discuss their youngsters’ problems throughout the play. This play, enlivened by frequent bits of humor is a genuine study of the interreac- tions ” of parent and youngster, during the tender, romantic, and impulsive Young April ” age. — 22 I—
