IMS Dear Senior : X an pleased and honored to have been asked by Julie Dixon to write a personal eessage to the eenbers of the Class of 19SI. It has been a pleasure watching you grow up during your four years at Hew Milford High School. Vhen you arrived In September of 19M you were the largest class in the school systea. In fact, you were the largest class In the history of Mew Milford. I’ll never forget, on your first day of school as X stood in the front of the auditonua waiting to greet you. how the Class of ISBB teemed to take forever to get into the auditonua. There were so aany of you. and did you give us a run for our aoney as we tried to help you adjust to the High School. But you did adjust and then becane a better and better group of individuals m each of the years you w«r at the Migh School until finally, this year, you truly aatured into a responsible and fine senior class. I congratulate you for that. Mow that we've trained you into being the fine responsible citizens you have becoae. it's now tine for you to aove on. Of course, that is how it should be. Our job is to give you the education and the confidence to be able to coapete on your own in either the world of work, or m the college classrooa. X believe we. at the Ugh School, have don an excellent job preparing you to neet your responsibilities. But you nade it happen. He can try all we want, but if you didn't want your education or if you didn't want to aeet your responsibilities, then nothing would have happened. I have watched you grow and succeed for the past four years and X know that you will be successful m the next phase of your lives. It's really up to you. but have faith in yourself.
