It is with a deep sense of gratitude, appreciation, and honor that we, the graduating class of 1982. dedicate our yearbook to our advisor. Mr. Robert W. Asman. During the past four years. Mr. Asman has guided our class with fatherly patience and pride. He has instilled in us his sincere sense of commitment. and his high values have established for us a paragon of integrity. As a teacher, history department chairman, and active community member. Robert Asman has always been accessible to those seeking his wise and straightforward counsel. Throughout our high school years, which have been filled with joy. unity, and limitless success, we have come to understand and appreciate the character of this energetic man. His warmth and care for us have touched us all deeply. For this and for all the shared memories, we shall always remember Robert Asman. Mr. Asman, on behalf of all my fellow classmates. I thank you. Augie Ribeiro President, Class of 1982

It doaan't aeeai poaalble that your four yeara at Hew Milford Nigh School have drawn to a cloae. I can vividly recall your flrat day of achool back In September of 1978 aa you wandered around Che corridors trying to find your rooan and staring at the big senior . However, It didn't take long before the Class of 1982 started to assert Itself. You got organised early In the Fall of your freshman year and made a float for the Homecoming Farad . That was the flrat tine In recent memory that a freshman class accomplished that. Also, during that year, u had our first annual Freshman Recognition Night In which you started the tradition of freshman superlatives. I also remember how you continued to break new ground during your years and evolved from a potentially great class to a truly great class. The academic records you have established will last for many years. Right from the beginning It was your goal to be a united class. You have succeeded! Now that you have established yourselves. It Is time for you to move on because graduation la in fact a beginning, not an ending. The staff of this school has don Its job. You are well prepared and ready to strike out on your own In order to make your own place la the world. Each of you. In your own way, has shown great promise for good and meaningful futures. Some of you will be going to college, others to the world of work, and other to the armed forces. In whatever you do, I have no doubt that you will do It well. 1 have seen you succeed for the past four years and there Is no reason to believe you will not continue to escel. I aa proud to have been the principal for the Class of 1982 and I wish you the beat of luck In all your future endeavors. Sincerely, y PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
