We, the graduating class of 1981, wish to dedicate our yearbook to Mr. Russell L. Devin. Mr. Devin is an extremely proud man who conceals his emotions but who has a heart of gold. As a teacher he is stern, traditional, straightforward, and very dedicated. Not only has he taught, but he has also been chairman of the science department and the principal of New Milford High School for a number of years. Many, though, will remember him for his work in track, and rightly so. Mr. Devin demanded respect from all who trained under him, and got it. He did all he could for his kids. As a result of this strong bond, Mr. Devin has been presented with championship after championship. Indeed, Russ Devin and New Milford High School track have become synonymous.
