Devin. Mr. Devin is an extremely proud man who conceals his emotions but who has a heart of gold. As a teacher he is stern, traditional, straightforward, and very dedicated. Not only has he taught, but he has also been chairman of the science department and the principal of New Milford High School for a number of years. Many, though, will remember him for his work in track, and rightly so. Mr. Devin demanded respect from all who trained under him, and got it. He did all he could for his kids. As a result of this strong bond, Mr. Devin has been presented with championship after championship. Indeed, Russ Devin and New Milford High School track have become synonymous. Mr. Devin, we highly appreciate your help and guidance through these four years. On behalf of the class of 1981, I commend you. Jeffrey Bell Assistant Coordinating Editor Yearbook 1981 MR. RUSSELL. If not for a dedicated class, it would have been Secretary — Lynne Misericordia for us. When the work seemed endless, you were there. Who can forget the long grueling hours spent working on our floats, the prom and Bye Bye Birdie? We value our work relationship as you dared to be different and you were forever open to new ideas. Being leaders for a class like you is a memory to be cherished. To those of you who worked with us, our love and thanks are yours. To our advisors, Barbara Nelson and George Ferris, a big thank you for lime, guidance and encouragement. To the class of '81 — hats off to a helluva group! May love and luck be with you.
